CFSI offers filmmakers emotional support, says co-writer of ‘Poorna’

Hyderabad: Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) offers filmmakers an emotional support, said Prashant Pandey, co-writer of ‘Poorna’.

‘Poorna’, which is being screened at the children’s film festival, is a biopic on Poorna Malavath, a tribal girl from Telangana who became the youngest girl in the world to scale Mount Everest at the age of 13 years.

“Films like this demand a lot of sentimental support which we always had from CFSI,” says Pandey.

Talking about CFSI’s journey, CFSI CEO Shravan Kumar says the aim has been to support and promote talents who will eventually turn into successful producers. “In that sense, Prashant’s efforts are something that we are proud of because that’s what we want to foster in our country and abroad,” he adds.
