13-year-old steals the show at International Children’s Film Festival

Hyderabad: For his performance in the silent movie ‘Ehsaas’, Amit Raj, the 13-year-old boy from Bihar, won accolades and appreciation from all quarters.

The boy stole the show with his expressions and proved to the audience that he is much ahead of his time and age.

“I had no idea that silent films existed before I did this film. It was very exciting and I enjoyed working for Ehsaas,” Raj said.

‘Ehsaas’, a three-minute film was selected in the Little Directors section and screened at the 20th International Children’s Film Festival India.

The film that received a standing ovation after the screening, presents how a child throws his lunch at schools every day because he craves for junk food. But, eventually circumstances make him realise that there are children who do not get even a single meal a day and sleep hungry.
